Hat Questions
Are the hats washable?
Yes! To help preserve the quality of the hat we recommend handwashing using cold water and a mild detergent, then gently cleaning the hat by hand. However, many of our customers have had no issues putting them in the washing machine.
Do the hats fade?
Like any hat, our embroidered hats will naturally show signs of wear over time. With regular use and prolonged exposure to sunlight, the fabric may gradually fade, and the fit may become slightly more relaxed.
To help extend the life of your hat, we recommend:
- Hand washing with cold water and mild detergent
- Air drying only
- Avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when not in use
With proper care, your hat will continue to look great for years to come.
What sizes are the ball caps?
The hats are adjustable form 6-7/8" up to 7-1/2".
Do you offer fitted hats?
At this time, we do not offer fitted hats. All of our hats are classic dad hats with an adjustable strap, making them comfortable for a wide range of head sizes.
Our hats feature a low-profile, unstructured design, which means they naturally conform to the shape of your head over time for a relaxed, comfortable fit. We love the timeless, broken-in look and feel that dad hats provide, making them perfect for everyday wear.
What color hats are available?
We offer a selection of classic, versatile colors that pair well with almost any outfit. Our current hat colors include:
- Black
- Dark Red
- Khaki
- Navy Blue
- Olive Drab
- Stone
We primarily choose neutral colors for their timeless style and everyday versatility. While dark red isn't traditionally considered a neutral, it's been a popular customer request, so we've added it to our collection. We may introduce additional colors in the future based on customer feedback and availability.
Are the wings centered on the hat?
Yes! We take pride in making sure our wings and emblems are carefully centered on every hat for a clean, professional appearance.
Because each design is directly embroidered, you may occasionally notice that a design is slightly offset from the center seam. This is normal and is a natural result of the embroidery process. Rest assured, we carefully position every design to achieve the best possible finished look while maintaining the quality and integrity of the embroidery.
I have wings and emblems that I think you should sell in your shop! What should I do?
We'd love to hear your ideas! If there's a wing, emblem, squadron, or aviation design you'd like to see in our shop, please contact us and let us know.
We keep track of customer requests and gauge interest before adding new designs. If enough people are interested, we will need about 25 customers. We'll work with our vendor to see if the design can be produced and added to our collection.
Your feedback helps us continue expanding our selection, so don't hesitate to reach out with your suggestions!
